Dry Type Transformer

SC (B) 10/11/12/13 10-35KV epoxy resin cast dry-type transformer is safe, flame-retardant and fire-resistant, and can be directly installed in the load center. Maintenance free, easy to install, low overall operating cost, low loss, good moisture resistance, can operate normally at 100% humidity, and can be put into operation without pre drying after shutdown. Low partial discharge capacity, low noise, strong heat dissipation ability, and can operate at 120% rated load under forced air cooling conditions. Advantages of dry-type transformers

1. High voltage windings are made of copper wire, low voltage windings are made of copper wire or copper foil, filled and wrapped with glass fiber felt, and poured with unfilled epoxy resin in a vacuum state. After curing, it forms a sturdy circular and rectangular whole with high mechanical strength, low partial discharge, and high reliability.
2. Flame retardant, explosion-proof, and non polluting to the environment. The insulation materials such as glass fiber used for winding coils have self extinguishing properties and will not generate arcs due to short circuits. Under high heat, the resin will not produce toxic or harmful gases.
3. The coil does not absorb moisture, and the iron core clamp has a special anti-corrosion protection layer, which can operate in 100% relative humidity and other harsh environments. Intermittent operation does not require dehumidification treatment.
4. High resistance to short circuits and lightning strikes.
5. The resin layer on the inner and outer sides of the coil is thin and has good heat dissipation performance. Cooling method – usually using natural air cooling (AN). For transformers of any protection level, an air cooling system (AF) can be configured to improve short-term overload capacity and ensure safe operation.
